Help! I can't find me
The Search for the HoneyComb Hideout
Don't know about you but lately I've come to realize I don't fit anywhere.
Don't get me wrong, there's a bevy of suitors that have come courting in an attempt to usher me into their groups. No shortage of that. But I have to admit I just don't see myself partying with them. It's not just an abject fear of acronyms that leads me to balk at organizations like AARP, or AMAC, ASA, ARA or ASAP PAP. Ok so I made that last one up. I'm sure they are perfectly lovely special interest groups but they just don't appeal to me.
I am drawn in by looks. Design. Style. I don't think that makes me shallow but maybe. I just figure if they can't make a compelling, well designed party invitation I'm probably not going to enjoy them.
I eat with my eyes (which of course doesn't jive with my waistline sadly)
I want to be with people who understand that good design, a sense of humor, and a modicum of awareness are essential to the conversation.
I'm not saying I'm looking for the Anti AARP but it does have a nice ring to it. So that's the genesis of UNTIRED..an apolitical, nondenominational, acronym free group of people who want to enjoy unretirement with style and a good logo. I would crash that party PDQ!
I'd love to connect with like minded individuals who are interested in this alternative clubhouse. Let me know your thoughts! Just click that nifty icon.
