Strategic Go to Market
I've been involved with taking brands and products to market for decades now and I've been lucky enough to have worked it using a variety of approaches...internal corporate messaging, broadcast advertising and promotions, outdoor, in-store, and lately the Internet. The clients included GM, Ford, Jeep, ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, Showtime, Warner Bros, Paramount, Disney and Rolex. While working on some of these projects I was also directing the #1 sitcom in America. Yes, the dishes piled up.
Here's a quick tour through some of those projects.
GMAC Internal Sales Messaging (Ally)
The goal was to increase the sales of GMAC financing products. We realized that the first stumbling block was with the dealer sales and financing force. They simply were not understanding the benefits of the various financing options..largely because the internal messaging methods were long, lackluster, and lethargic. We instituted lean, effecient and entertaining short form content that got the team's attention and created memorable info tidbits. Sales increased over 32%.
NBC Must See TV Campaign
Leveraged the then individual hit comedies Seinfeld, Mad about You, Wings and Frasier into a promotable entertainment block that lead to an entire night of increased audience numbers. Must See TV became synonymous with NBC and was then used to launch new shows as well as other nights. NBC ruled prime time television during this period.
Turner Classic Movies Launch
Part of a select group of designers chosen to create TCM imaging and branding during the go live launch of the new 24 hour classic movie channel. I created multiple on-air anchor branding animations and live action effects for prime time movies, specialty film blocks and top of hour ids. We were able to present classic images in a fresh, new way helping to set the network apart and creating one of the most successful new channel offerings of the time.

Montecito Pictures
Hired by Ivan Rietman to create an iconic logo mark to brand his production company as an industry powerhouse capable of delivering cinema magical stories.
Fox NFL
Hired by Rupert Murdoch and staff to creatic strategic pitch strategy to wrestle the NFL from NBC and CBS only control. Our video presentation was pivotal in winning a landmark decision for the NFL to award the then fledgling network the contract for coverage. Fox has revolutionized the way that televised sports is presented, and is the leader in innovation.
Forks Over Knives Film
Created memorable image for movie poster and advertising imagery to instantly brand the film as an provocative, indie film about the alternative of plant based diet vs surgery. Forks Over Knives is one of independent film's major successes, spawning websites, cookbooks, and creating an iconic health brand.
David Feherty Televison Shows
Hired by Comcast, NBC, and the Golf Channel to create 2 pilots for David Feherty...one an offbeat interview show and the other an even more offbeat improvisational 1/2 hour comedy. The "more safe" interview show was picked up and is now in its 3rd season as the Golf Channel's number #1 original program.
Bangstyle
While creating and launching an accessibly priced, salon only, hair care line, I realized the need for a social network for the hair obsessed. The idea proved out, allowing us to use advertising dollars to create a runaway hit in professional hair care...becoming the #1 hair site in the world with over 1million monthly visitors within 6 months of launch. We innovated hair photo sharing as a universal, global, social language. This was pre-Pinterest and Instagram.
Projects now include a major disruption in automobile appearance care, a new, unbiased Marijuana news network, an App for simple and beautiful DIY's, and a private, invite only social club for creators.
